Update 09/01/10: Pardon the late update, we've been very busy! With the Portland Zine Symposium and many awesome projects and illustrations being made for your pleasure, time just flew by! So here is an intermission with the Tabouli Bros., who get the privilege to read Dark Rainbow! Pierre's too hungry to read comics, though. This portrayal of a Tabouli Bros. page was screentoned with digital tones in a quick manner. However, final pages of Tabouli Bros. are toned by hand with gray Prismacolor markers. This page just needed a little light and shadow to get the atmosphere right :) Rachel Millar has sent me a wonderful watercolor painting of her Dragonflaea, as well as portraits of the Dark Rainbow gang!
